Sumirekawa Nenene 22 years old. Female. Author. When she was 13 years old, she had a debut in a movie called, "Kimi wa Boku o Shitteru" ("You Know Me"). She is now a bestselling author. She has a very high pride which causes her to be stubborn at times, but she is very funny. The way she talks is eccentric. She has a deeper side though, and she gets sad and blames everything on herself. This is the type of person she is. |

Great New Spy Action! The new agents are three beautiful sisters. The central character in the OVA R.O.D is a young bookworm who has the special ability to manipulate paper. The new TV anime revisits the same themes as the OVA, with some new main characters--three beautiful sisters. Hideyuki Kurata, artist of the original manga, describes the girls: "Michelle, the oldest loves to flirt and is obsessed with following each new fad. Maggie always looks like she's lost in deep thought, but really she's just in a daze. And Anita is selfish, stubborn and hates books more than anything else. They get on each other's nerves when they're together, but their faults are part of their charm." Mr. Kurata likes girls with glasses, so why don't any of these three wear them? "I decided not to have these girls wear glasses because they just didn't look right on them--not everyone looks good in glasses. It would be an insult to glasses and the girls who wear them. Glasses are a bond that link one person to another." Our final question, Mr. Kurata: why doesn't Yomiko, the main character of the previous series, appear in the new series? "She doesn't? Who told you that?" Guess we'll have to watch the show and find out! |
